Man accused of erratic driving, threatening deputies in the Keys arrested

A man accused of reckless driving and threatening law enforcement in the Florida Keys was arrested on Saturday, deputies said. Thomas Dominick Carlevale, 39, is facing several charges, including DUI, assault on a law enforcement officer, and threatening to kill a law enforcement officer. According to the Monroe County Sheriff s Office, deputies arrived at a gas station near Mile Marker in Islamorada at around 12:48 a.m., where Carlevale struck an off-duty deputy s motorcycle and then left. Deputies said witnesses reported several near collisions that were caused by Carlevale s erratic driving, as well as his aggressive behavior and making threats. He was then arrested.
