Man faces 18 charges in 12 cases after cops report crime spree videos in Coral Gables, Miami

A 22-year-old man accused of a three-day crime spree was at the Metrowest Detention Center on Thursday in Miami-Dade County, facing 18 charges in 12 cases, records show. Detectives listed eight surveillance videos that showed Ivis Aceituno’s obsessive three-day focus on parked cars that didn’t belong to him, according to incident and arrest reports. Records show six of the surveillance videos were recorded on May 30 in Coral Gables, one on June 5 in Miami’s Coral Way neighborhood, and another on June 9, also in Coral Gables.
