Good Friday morning! It’s a nice, comfortable start, with lows dropping into the 60s and lower 70s. A northeast breeze could bring a few quick showers along the coast, with highs reaching the mid-80s.Enjoy Friday, because the chance for heavy rainfall is increasing this weekend across the East Coast metro areas. This will also increase the potential for flooding in the metro areas of Miami-Dade and Broward counties.Strong wind gusts of 35 mph or higher on Sunday could also cause minor wind damage, primarily near coastal areas. We’re also entering the next phase of king tides, bringing the potential for saltwater flooding. King tides through the weekend will reach moderate flood levels along the East Coast, with saltwater flooding possible on streets and in communities.
