A Coastal Flood Warning is in effect for coastal Broward and Miami-Dade counties Monday, as saltwater flooding could reach major flood stage during this round of king tides. A Coastal Flood Advisory is in effect for the Lower Keys. Numerous road closures are possible, and some areas can expect overflowing drains.Outside of the king tides, fast-moving showers will continue Sunday evening into Monday. The showers could produce localized flooding. Strong northeast winds are expected to gust throughout the area, pushing water onshore, increasing the risk of rip currents and creating hazardous conditions for beachgoers and boaters. A gale warning is in effect, with winds potentially gusting to 35 to 40 knots.
