October 11: Hot and humid Sunday with isolated inland storms

Another warm and humid start to the day across South Florida with a few isolated showers through the morning. Expect a mostly sunny sky through lunchtime with highs in the lower 90s. Heat index values will soar into triple digits today before the chance for isolated inland storms this afternoon. Hot through Monday before a weak frontal boundary moves through the region. This front will clear out the tropical humidity through the middle of the week with more sunshine and seasonable temperatures.
